Absolutely Jesse! Can't wait to get some parts and especially your Protune on this B58! Your maps on the B48 completely transformed it, can't wait to see the same on the 3.0! I'll check out your shop this weekend ;b
Got an offer on the 2.0 I just couldn't pass up on....but I'm still in the Supra family ;b Snagged a 2021 3.0 Premium with only 4k miles (Carfax shows it was only on the road for 3 months). Time to begin a build on the B58!
I was actually looking into this earlier this month. Still haven't gotten a 100% confirmation, but I but I spotted it over at ECS for the B48.

I love the Fi system. Zero drone, fantastic sound and it utilizes the factory OEM actuators for the active valves. Sport mode is used just like stock, for more noise and it sounds incredible opened up, or it's nice and quiet when you just want to cruise. Quite a few options out there though...
Got the @Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler on last night. Looks fantastic ;b Thanks to Jill and the awesome crew over there for working with us on our build!
Having a little fun on some mountain backroads! I have driven on these since I first got my license and very first sports car (350z). They never fail to make me smile and the Supra performs beautifully ;b
You got it! MAP 6 is just for custom maps. I have one saved for 93 octane that we worked on extensively for a week or more. After the Fuel-It kit, we then began working on the E30 tune. Jesse is incredibly talented and versed on this platform. Everything is just perfect and the power just...
Absolutely! I tried this but I think I still used regular LC from 2nd gear. I'll have to try again once it warms up some and disable TC fully on my next few attempts. Practicing this alongside some stickier tires should do the trick ;b Thanks for sharing!
Those might be the ticket, I'll definitely keep them in mind this Spring/Summer. 100% with you on the weight difference and feel. It's far easier to add additional power to this platform, then shed 250 lbs off of it.
I think you'll be fine with even 275s with quality tires IMO. These...
295s would likely be the best fit and I'll definitely consider the r888 ;b Any other tires you might recommend? I love my Firehawks overall (they perform amazing on the windy backroads), but I do need something stickier at this point for hooking from a stop. There is also lots of improvement...
Thanks! It's been a really fun build and I'm super impressed with this little B48.
Jesse figured we were around 320whp and 350wtq, just based off our times and his knowledge tuning these. I tried one dyno shop near by last year and they couldn't get it in dyno mode correctly...so I promptly...
It's pricey but I've never heard anything like it! It's one mod most will definitely have to save up for, but so worth it once you hear it and go on your first drive =) I was already saving up myself for a nice exhaust system and then got partial sponsorship for this one, so it all worked out!
