Why don't you just sell the Supra and buy the Camaro?
Edit: Read the whole thread, my question still stands. I just don't think the Supra is the right car for you and your goals.
Also are you seriously considering 1000+ HP on tires, brakes, and a suspension that's designed for 400 or so? Seems...
The VA pays out disability compensation for injuries, illnesses, and wounds suffered while in the service. The military is a meat grinder that chews you up and spits you out, especially if you actually go to combat.
Suprise to no one, that's what the comp and pen idiot at the VA told me when I was trying to increase from 50% 10 years ago. Why am I not surprised that that's a bunch of BS.
Well, I have documented burn pit exposure and a bunch of pulmonary issues as a result so maybe this PACT act stuff will...
Kudos to that Veteran. I'm at 90% myself, but I actually like working and 100% + SSDI would be a pretty huge pay cut vs 90% + mechanical engineering job.
I agree, the license plate is a little braggy, but so what. That veteran is a PFC now and it's a free country...for now...
That said...
Damn Dude, really impressive work. It really does look fantastic on your car. Very "road legal" GT4 looking.
Kudos for having the nerve to Dremel your hood. I'm not sure if I could do it myself! ?
Mark, I'm not sure if you've seen the Apex fitment guides (11" wheel too), but they're very well done. On Ohlins at the recommended ride height and -2 degrees of negative camber or lower 295s shouldn't be any issue. Lots of people running 315 square too. I'm probably going to go to 295s once...
Yes, if the car is lowered you should be using adjustable end-links to eliminate the pre-load on the sway bar created by the altered suspension geometry.
Yes Sir. Currently running the V730s in 275/35-18 on some VERY dirty T-R10s.
I haven't run 40 AR tires yet on my 18s, but lots of seriously fast people are running the 275/40-18 CR-Ss on their Supras. Bryan and Jackie Ding are two good examples.
Okay, the sizing is about as clear as mud on these turbos. ? But there's some really attractive design elements. I've always been a big fan of Garrett (no pun intended).
What would be suggested for a road corse setup running on 260 GTX, stock fuel system, stock transmission? Obviously upgraded...
