I've had mine on the wet skidpad at the Lime Rock Park/FCP Euro proving grounds several times now. I am running several mods, including a small amount of toe-in in the rear.
I found that with my track tire pressure way too high , this car is a drift machine. Easy to initiate with a quick...
@Eyelise I definitely noticed this when I went to 275^2, but I like the extra rotation. My starting pressure that I've been using is 25f, 24r. I'm really enjoying this setup with the sway bars and stock dampers/springs.
Given the experiences I've had with the three dealerships I've brought my car to I wouldn't be surprised at all if they caused an alignment issue.
Hopefully all is good now.
Wasn't me, but he had my car. ?
He had a bunch of series stickers of some sort, but like Bryan said it was not the best weather for socializing.
He did roll past me in the pits and I gave him a big thumbs up and a "Nice car!". He saw me standing next to my Supra and smiled and waved. It...
I got a chance to ride in @razorlab's car yesterday and I wanted to share my impressions while the memory is still fresh.
He took me out for a ride for 15 minutes or so at Lime Rock Park. It was hot, humid, and nasty out and he had been on the track all day.
Pulling out into Turn 1 the MCS...
I'll tell you, it got much much worse for me going to 200tw tires. I forgot to turn it off one session yesterday and there were whole areas of the track, including "No Name Straight" where it was just constantly on, even going more or less straight. The biggest thing I noticed is that it made...
The arms, geometry, and adjustability are identical. The springs are lighter because the car is lighter and the dampers have been adjusted to match.
But hey, way to dismiss advice from people that know way more about this car than you do out of your own ignorance. I always love seeing that...
Another day at Lime Rock Park. Great seeing @razorlab again. Thanks for explaining that motorsports traction control! I learned a lot about it today.
After 2x car control clinics I'm getting very comfortable with the tsc off, and I'm amazed at how much faster I am with it off. My best of the...
I've been bouncing my car off of curbs a lot this summer (mostly on purpose!) and I have hub stands to check my alignment. The car has been holding rock solid with adjustable LCAs and Toe links.
Just a sample of 1, but the M2...I mean Supra suspension is pretty tough.
Ok buddy, whatever you say.
I guess I'm not even sure what the purpose of this thread is if you've already got it all figured out...?
Please take a YouTube video of your first post build 1000+ WHP "pull" on the stock suspension with 200tw tires. I need a good laugh.
