Did you wind up replacing the brake pads, if so, what are your thoughts?
Not yet but is on my to-do list.
I'm liking this car more and more but the brakes
have to be replaced as I find them ok at normal speed but a bit slow to bite
at speed and rather inconsistant during repeated...
Update: nine months of ownership and I am finally in love with this car.
Honestly, and not trying to diss anyone, but I don't get it when owners are
adding more power to this car without figuring out the other dynamics: the brakes and the handling.
I still see here where people are asking if it...
“My car rattles” , “My hatch is too hard to open” “My heads up display moved 2 mm on its own”
At least they drive,kkkk
I luckily don't have any horror stories or "crap, it's ruined now!" situations. More like, "now THIS is much better!"
Why not more of these or better yet mods for the poor...
I would love to see a thread where modders without a single issue would
detail their experiences. It seems that just about every complaint in this forum
can be traced to some form of modding. Am I right? Are there examples of trouble free mods?
For sure, I have nothing for or against modding. It simply is not m,y preference. I have no need to measure "metaphoric sexual appendages" and since I don't track and no longer autoX, what is the point? Can't drive fast anymore, crowded roads, even nice and curvy roads in my state and the nearby...
Well, folks, it's been 8 months of ownership and my thoughts on this car have changed somewhat.
It litterally took me 7 months and an alignment to really understand this car, how it handles, its quirks and its good points. I admit to not getting "it", when I read on this forum that new owners...
Yes, well, my fronts weren't that bad, needed only -.02 adj however the rears needed -.14 each. That was with OEM wheels and Conti all seasons .
Car tracks straight and true, no longer has the "built-in" drift that unsettled me. Different car now.
" Care to share your alignment specs?"
I suspect each car to be unique in that respect but for me, it was -.02 toe in both fronts and -.14 toe both rears. Camber left alone. Car is definitely more planted
less likely to exhibit a drifting tendency. I feel more confident attacking corners.
Since my purchase on Sept 4 of 2020, having been on this forum almost daily, I wonder whether anyone else is merely(?) keeping their Supra stock, content to enjoy a solid ride, good handling and power without a care for 0-60 times, 1/4 miles, after market downpipes, piggybacks and other tunes. I...
Modern cars, especially European ones have since long ago advocated starting and driving right off as the best way to properly warm all fluids at the same time.
Yes. They were recommended by my Indy.
Told me that he fitted them to his Mom's car, so I
Thought I'd give them a try. I am so far super impressed
to the point of thinking f leaving them on permanently.
