Yeah, I only use V Bands when fabricating exhausts too.
The Tomei fitment is fiddly - but I am OCD so it had to be millimeter perfect. I did have to slot the holes on the brace between the two pipes at the back, and one side sticks out maybe 1-2mm futher than the other, but the tips are centred...
I was invited to the down-under launch of the Supra (and the GR Supra GT3 concept) as a part of the state Supra club.
They had a pre-production A90 there that was US spec exhaust. That was seriously loud compared to what we ended up getting.
I really like the Ti, as the thinwall gives it a little more of a rasp and less of a 'deep humm' tone... But other than weight savings, that's the only difference with Titanium.
I got mine from the US, but from memory, there was a local mob that was only a couple of hundred more expensive.

They list it at 100dB so that's not legal at all, but with sound reducer V2, you're bang on the...
The rear muffler has a different part number, which matches the EU Supras. I haven't cut it open but suspect it has more baffles.
AU is a bit of a mix, it has the US-spec engine and mid-pipe, with no exhaust filter, but the rear muffler is EU spec.
Tomei Type D with the OE cat sounds fantastic...
The Aussie supra is quiet as shit with the valve open. In sport mode, it's open all the time except for higher gears on the highway, iirc. We have a different muffler to the USDM market.
The 2023 models are even quieter than the first release 2019 models.
I've got the Tomei Type D on my 6MT...

It is improved, but, it's still fairly janky. I think a lot is to do with the clutch feel (specifically, the lack thereof), and potentially that restrictor in the fluid line.
But yes, faster spinning input shaft = easier to shift.
It's the same in the V161 too, with the big 30mm FW gears. Even...
Mine was 12 months. Ordered May 2022, received May 2023.
I'm really hoping the gearshift feel wears in, because it still feels pretty artificial and shit after 1200km.
I'd love to track my A90... So hard to justify when I have a dedicated track car that can take the stone chips and wear haha
But I know the A90 would be an absolute beast. The few that I've been on track with certainly have.
I'm an android peasant as well, and also old, so new tech is confusing and frightening. The stock Nav system works a treat, I have no issues with it at all.
I've found it intuitive and easy to use, and the guidance is pretty solid. Far better then the current Toyota system that's for sure.
As you know, a good part of the reason the R35 is still being developed is to recuperate costs.
It was developed pre-GFC so it consumed a lot of money... Have to try and get that back/milk it as much as practical.
I coated mine with Cquartz from Day 0, and 15,000km later, with proper washing techniques, it has very minimal (almost none) swirls, marring, etc.
I don't touch the paint except doorhandles.
Having owned both, and all my other Supras being MT - The 6MT in the A90 is not leaps and bounds ahead of the 8AT like I thought it would be. I prefer it, but, the 8AT was still an excellent engaging option and didn't detract from the character of the car.
An engaging AT is not about shift...
