I dunno, I used my Dragy the other day to test the work of a certain tuner to see if I got my money's worth.

They reworked the internals and intake to allow higher RPM. Relatively flat torque curve means you get almost 1-1 increase in HP with the higher limit. It's not like they dropped a Hemi in it. But it is great for Auto X because it allows you to stay in the low gears longer etc.. etc...

If you've never done it, take a test drive! It will literally make you laugh out loud. Do NOT ride in the car. As a passenger, the Miata is a miserable experience. The car has next to no power. Which means you get to floor the gas pedal, row the gears, make all sorts of noise, and look down...

Tested out my 1 Fast Supra JB4 E30 tune. Got my 30-80 down from 4.3-4.5 down to 3.6(Dragy) . You guys ever notice a really rough 3-4 or 4-5 shift when going full beans? I suspect the car is "surprised" when rowing the gears on a new tune. But coming out the next day and driving progressively...

You mean like going full El Camino or do you mean ripping the interior? You might have luck googling up people that have installed full cages.

Howdy, I had soda spill in the cabin and while I cleaned it up as quickly and best I could, a little seems to have gotten into the parking brake button and made it a little sticky to pull and release. Any tips to clean it up? Any way, with reasonable ease, to pull the button to clean it? TIA.

I did something kind of lame. Once the rear view mirror is pulled off it will hang down and almost touch the screen. put a folded rag over the screen and you can set the mirror on the top of it. Then you push the wires into the plug while it's plugged in.

True. It's hard to watch. You see this in baseball all the time. A young guy devotes his life to a sport only to find out he's C+ at best. Double down on effort and results only gets worse. Quadruple A is a sad fate.

I'll leave this unpopular opinion here and run away. If some of our friends understood the difference between race cars and daily drivers then they wouldn't be shoving our hobby into the average persons face. And thus the average people wouldn't be voting in laws to reign in our hobby.
