  1. The Return

Too early for a DST error, probably a time zone thing.
  2. Upshifting automatically in Manual Mode

Tough crowd today. The OPs problem is very specific. He stated that it only occurs in 6th, in manual mode, only a moderate push of accel. He never mentioned hitting red line and he didn't mention any other gear. I too have bounced on the rev limiter, because I forgot I was in manual, and...
  3. What mods or choices do you regret?

I don't have any real regrets with this car. I wish I had more patience in installing the thic whips. I was over confident from the rear badge and was a tad aggressive on the front and didn't consider the PPF. Wish maybe my side reflector delete on driver side front or the spoiler on driver...
  4. 1 Fast Supra Labor Day Sale - Ends Today (SUNDAY)

Cool. You might consider adding link to your site in the promo. Not that we don't all know your site, but it's amazingly clicky to get there. Think drunk buyer on a Friday night :)
  5. General question

Term is confused in general. In a Supra forum you'd expect them to be talking only about Supra. So no Gen 1 B58 in Supra so you'd expect they referring to 2 port vs. 6 port. But that's an assumption. Out in the wild or on BMW forums you might expect they are talking about the engine...
  6. Best Catted Downpipe

I have AA and its great. But to be truthful, there have been bad batches of AA that did throw CEL. The warranty is on the Cat and not the work. So pulling it on and off is on your dime. Some member was snake bit and had it happen a couple of times. And there was question as to the Bimmer...
  7. Donut - We Drove EVERY Supra

I hate when car review include generally accepted truisms. Yes, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. It's been said a thousand times. This is not a slow car. Duh. And the great insight is what?
  8. What did you do to your Supra today?

Ah Paco! Haven't heard about them in years. I purchased a set of seat rails early in my MX5's life and was the very last time my wife rode in the car :) Combined with the lowered suspension it made the stupid little car that much stupider and littler. Paco has a bunch of stuff for making off...
  9. Garage door opener??

Depending on size and shape of garage, you can push car forward and to the right to make space for a chair or step ladder between driver door and driver seat. then you can hop down and get in car with plenty of time. Honestly, you can probably make 20' to get into the car in the drive way...
  10. Garage door opener??

I have Genie Intellicode. Main unit has a learn button under the plastic covering over the lights. Have to press that then jump down and get in car to complete process. Can be rather amusing based on your garage lay out. This isn't as much about your car as it's your garage door trying to...
  11. Sport mode or not??

The poll question is too simplistic. I use sport mode when I'm playing around. Balanced mode for my commute. I'll repeat the caution on Sport+. It was not designed for this car. Bimmer Code folks cheat the limited Supra options by choosing Z4. The ECU and Head Unit only know what this is...
  12. Questions about jb4

Lots of general tuning questions. Thread with lots of general answers... https://www.supramkv.com/threads/gr-supra-101-routes-to-big-power.17670/
  13. DIY’d a manifold heat shield & intake snorkel.

I dunno. A 60mph wind produces about 14.4 pounds per square foot or only 0.1 pound per square inch. (http://www.sussex.ac.uk/weatherstation/technical/Windforce.html). Even if it does what you believe it is, it only helps 0.1 pound and the OEM turbo is compressing anywhere from +10psi to...
  14. Are stock intakes better than cold air intakes?

Sounds like I have an amusing project then :) Give me a reason to play around with my JB4.
  15. Are stock intakes better than cold air intakes?

I've done this before. It's a fun art project. Makes your engine bay look like the Lunar Lander if nothing else. A lot cheaper bling than those aluminum cap covers. Did you happen to get any numbers on it though? I could get no conclusive results.
  16. Rear ended - fixable?

    Adult Miata? I dunno...
  17. How much for wrap?

Depends on material and quality of workmanship. Decent quality is the in $5k range. The Supra is considered difficult to wrap and you will pay a premium.
  18. What did you do to your Supra today?

Oi. Paisley. Be careful in LA. https://www.rvinyl.com/Classic-Bandana-Paisley-Vinyl-Film-Wrap
  19. What did you do to your Supra today?

Nah, the Holstein look is over played. Go polka dots. Or a Henna Tatoo. You'd be the cool kid at the Cars n Coffee.
