Lol y'all funny. Drive the car when you get a chance, I think it'll be very eye opening for all of you.
Btw I'm working on a video where I drive an A80 and A90 back to back and compare the two. You guys will enjoy that.
Also, just want to reiterate, the Z4 and Supra share a platform, but have...
Tada-San mentioned hardware differences, so I'm guessing its the muffler/exhaust diameter and maybe resonators and stuff too. Software maybe as well with the overrun noise.
Here's my ranking:
1. Downshift Blue
2. Nitro Yellow
3. AZ White
4. Turbulence Grey (Haven't seen IRL tho)
5. Ren Red 2.0
6. Phantom Grey
7. Nocturnal Black (It's almost a dark dark grey instead of black because of the heavy metallic)
8. Tungsten Silver
The Blue is super sexy, the yellow isn't...
Its actually really loud stock. You get spool, induction noise, and exhaust noise, along with the pops and bangs. Exhaust is diff between US, Europe, and Japan. US loudest, then JP, then EU.
Also, particulate filter is EU only.
Everyone agrees the price is right and that it takes the fight right to the Cayman S. Reliability was on everybody's mind though, but I think everyone agrees that it has the potential to be a hit. Not too spoil the fun but I think you'll find that most of the reviews will be positive.
Driving impressions are embargoed, but let me tell you; they're gonna sell a lot of these.
Also, Tada San told me like fifteen times today, "When you turn the boost up..." so he's ready for the wave of modding and tuning. All he talked about was tuning tbh.
Also I had dinner with him...
Don't believe they'll get the red interior atm, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes an option later on. None of these launch cars had plaques so they're probably not production spec cars.
