  1. Sold: Magnaflow XMOD Exhaust for 3.0 GR Supra

For sell is my slightly used (less than 200 miles) Maganaflow XMOD exhaust I had installed on my 2020. It was a bit too loud for me between 1500-2000 RPM for me, but I’m really picky, however it sounded great when your “On it” Or going up through the rpm. To help alleviate the low rpm tone...
  2. HKS vs Magnaflow xMod exhaust

Ok. I installed a 4” dia 1’ long 3” inlet on the 3” MF mid pipe. It’s a tight fit leaving only about 1/4 clearance between the heat shielding and the pipe. I say it reduces the drone between 1500 and 2000 rpm about 50% or so. Definitely reduces some of the annoyance. Quiets the overall sound...
  3. HKS vs Magnaflow xMod exhaust

I will be adding a 12” resonator on the 3” pipe after the DP to see if I can eliminate the resonance between 1500 and 2000 rpm. I’ll report back when done. It’ll be a tight fit but it looks like it might work.
  4. HKS vs Magnaflow xMod exhaust

Hey guys just found this thread and reviving it. I have the AA DO and just installed the Xmod - all mufflers with 3” inlet pipe. What inlet pipe did you go with. Trying to tone down the 2000 rpm drone/vibration. Thanks.
  5. Magnaflow fitment

No, I’m talking about the engine brace that you have to take down to install the system. I had to put four oversize nuts above the engine brace so that it moved it downward so it wouldn’t hit the pipe anymore. This would not help with your centering of the exhaust.
  6. Magnaflow fitment

Installed mine today with help from a friend (highly suggested). Fitment was dead on, sound great. I went with 3” inlet and both mufflers. There is a noticeable vibration/resonance from the exhaust right off idle but does completely vanish above 2000rpm. Not sure if going to 3.5” pipe would...
  7. BMW or Toyota

BTW you assumption about the reason for the poll - like most assumptions- is wrong. I actually don’t give 2 shits about people issues with it being a BMW or Toyota.
  8. BMW or Toyota

Pointless posts about spelling aside - Wow, provocative comments. . . enlightening. The class has learned a lot. I would have turned off comments but I didn’t see the option in the poll set up.
  9. BMW or Toyota

Why are some of you acting like this poll is a controversial question? Your starting to sound a bit woke (oh sorry did I trigger anyone). It appears you’re putting your own insecurities onto the question rather than what the question is really about, which is simply a poll to inquire about...
  10. Magnaflow fitment

Question. Got the exhaust in. Which pipe size are y’all using coming off the DP
  11. BMW or Toyota

granular. You mean more like boulders in this case.
  12. BMW or Toyota

Who gives a fuck? Evidently I do. But I figured the question would have made that self evident.
  13. BMW or Toyota

Although it will always be a little bit ambiguous for us, do you primarily think of your car is a BMW or a Toyota
  14. Magnaflow fitment

    What’s rattling do you think?
  15. Magnaflow fitment

I see two options. Have the shop cut the bracket holding the two pipes together and reweld once centered, or maybe they can stretch one of the smaller length pipes on one of their pipe machines. Not sure on that second option but worth asking.
  16. 23 y/o first time sports car owner woes

The only reason to feel you don’t deserve a thing is if you aren’t fulfilling basic duties like feeding your family, providing shelter, providing for your kids - and importantly but often neglected when young - saving and investing for your future. If ALL those are covered - ENJOY. Your young...
  17. Magnaflow fitment

No. I just had issues with my Borla fitment so I sold it. Never could quite get it right. I want the Magnaflow but just wanted to verify prior to purchase.
