  1. BE AWARE!!! MST Intake filter burned by screw

I wonder if that screw can be replaced by a low-head version?
  2. NEW Pure 900 turbo

This is the place to which I was referring: https://www.pureturbos.com/ (Carlsbad, CA)
  3. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

No, it's fake. I'm actually an Audi "disrupter" who makes fun of Supra owners.
  4. NEW Pure 900 turbo

I hope to be going on a tour of this factory. It is only 45 minutes away from where I live.
  5. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

I picked up matching accessories, yesterday: The Mikan man lives! :D
  6. San Diego Supra Owners

And here: SoCal Inland Empire Meetups! | SupraMKV - 2020+ Toyota Supra Forum (A90 MKV Generation)
  7. Leaking diff?

I guess I was focusing on the upper areas when I zoomed in. My diff bled out an ounce or two, but that was due to the left axel seal leaking. Most likely, the amount in your mat did not exceed that. If you have ramps, you could back up on them, crawl underneath and place your loved fingers in...
  8. Oil Change Jack side

You were able to get under the car at that height?
  9. Leaking diff?

It looks like it's coming from the top, which is where the vent tube (breather) is. Based upon comments by others, if the diff gets hot enough, this is the result. The dealership may check the fluid lever/top it off and clean up the vented oil, then tell you to drive the car for up to 500 miles...
  10. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

I think some more lights are needed in your garage.
  11. Oil change based on prod date?

People, we have a Dr. House impersonator in the house!
  12. Oil change based on prod date?

For warranty adherence, I'd get it changed when the car tells you, even if it makes no sense. My 2008 MX5 accumulates 1100 miles in a year, but since it is not under warranty, I change its synthetic oil every year and a half. It still looks perfectly fresh when I do. My supra will probably...
  13. Battery Replacement

My car sat at the dealership for 5 weeks without a charge. These batteries are massive!
  14. OEM Tire concern?

    How often are they balanced?
  15. Less than expected dyno results.

It's always best to get a baseline on the same dyno. My 2001 Corvette dynoed 315 (stock) and 328 with CAI and Borla cat-back on a Dynojet. Torque was 352 lbs-ft. Factory rating was 350 at the engine.
  16. Which color calipers?

Powder coating requires the part(s) to be pre-baked to about 350 degrees F, so the components to be coated would likely need to be disassembled, first. Painting may be able to be done with only cleaning and masking. Of course, epoxy powder coating is more durable.
  17. Which color calipers?

All 45th Anniversary Supras (like my car) have black calipers, I believe. They definitely hide dirt and brake dust better than does any other color calipers.
  18. Beware of Continental Toyota in Hodgkins, IL

I see red flags when a dealership pulls that paint protection "scam". After I bought my car, I had 2/3 of it covered with thick (STEK) PPF for $3500. That's most likely much better than what that dealership is offering. Have you looked outside of your area? (toyota.com) You can always drive your...
  19. Manual Supra vs Porsche 968

I thought the same thing. Surprisingly, there are many within a 30 mile radius of where I live. I just rarely saw any (maybe 2 or 3 over the past few years), so I signed up with this forum and posted a request for an owner to meet me somewhere and let me check out their Supra. Jayce drove at...
