can you show me the proof? I have never seen a 21 with the 8.8 bolts.

that’s exactly what I mean. Someone with a super early 21 6 port that has the oil pump problem needs to post up and verify if they have the bolts or not. Mine is a 01-21 build, I have the new bolts and no issues. Do any 6 ports really have the old bolts?

Eastwood is old. Give him a break. He meant oil pump for sure. also, I’m still not sure about the whole bolt thing. I personally feel that it’s more of a 2 port vs 6 port thing. I need to see evidence of an early 6 port with those bolts, which I haven’t seen yet.

I actually have to agree with Phil on this one. With the +500 engines I have built in my life, I have never re torqued head bolts/studs.
