Let me give you a secret.
There is no such thing as non refundable deposit. Unless they sell you something or provide a service, charge you money for it and then say we'll count that towards the purchase of a car. Like a plumber asking for $200 to give you a quote and then saying he'll count...
I’ll pay $20 for your 1:59. Love setting a challenge for buddies.
Yeah I wanted red…but got green for some reason. It is pretty full, gonna have to get creative with passes to get a clean lap. I’ll text you when I am at the track tomorrow.
315 impossible to get to temp.... you have not met me. I would 100% get at least the fronts up to temp with uberfast corner entry and understeer shenanigans :D. If turn traction 2 clicks off, rears will follow. Lap times will not represent how well the tires were warmed up though.
Lets hook...
I see where you are going with this but the car has 3k miles on it so clutch fluid change is not a priority at the moment.
However I did change brake fluid (which is clutch fluid) to RF 650 the first week I've got the car. Clutch slave master cylinder was not bled at the time so it probably...
I just did this, all my cover and bracket screws were 10mm, did not need to use 8 or 9. Also used visegrip on the soft clutch line. All I lost was 2-3 drops that popped out of the slave master cylinder that's it.
I am having having trouble following what you are saying. Are you talking about no lift gear changes? What does "1st- 2 into 3rd" mean? You say avoid WOT but then you can launch it in first and go in to 2nd but avoid 3rd.... Super confused.
My issue is at the race track. I never launch this car anywhere, but at the track I change from 2->3 and 3->4 pretty fast, even if I am purposefully slow with actuating the shifter, I dump the clutch completely after the shifter is fully engaged.
In those situations the clutch pedal is too...
Just found out Longo Toyota in Cali (msrp dealer) is close to 100 deep on the manual waitlist. They are no where near able to fulfill even half of that list before production ends. If ya’ll find one thats not too much over msrp, something reasonable like 3-4k , I’d snatch it up. 5% markup is...
Yes, same reason why I am asking . There are people who claim supra transmission is awful due to cdv. I never felt like it was awful but am also wondering if it would be better without cdv. Precisely why i made this thread because everything out there is he said she said and assumptions.
So i...
I have the basic knowledge but feel free to explain like ELI5. How does CDV work? What does it do? Does it kick in while pressing the clutch or releasing it or both. Why is it good, why is it not good. What can CDV screw up, what does CDV save you from?
This of course if you truly know. Not...
So how does femto do it? I guess we don't know or we'd be doing it but what is the guess? They have a rogue BMW engineer/mechanic that has an RSA key on his phone or key chain?
