That deal is no more I inquired last month. They changed the SKU on those wheels (but not the wheels themselves) and now want $375 a piece for the same exact thing.
Then get a different hood like fiber glass or carbon and cut that (if you need the cooling). If your track goals are 10/10ths pushing hard lap after lap and want to keep stock look, drivability, low cost etc.. you are on the wrong platform.
Wheel choice does not matter as you don’t know if...
With auto purchase you will lose money in the short term. Lets say $60k msrp + $6k fees = 66k OTD, sell in 6 months to 1 year ~$55k, you are in the hole $11000.
If you leased it instead you won't pay the tax upfront but will pay acqusition fee in that case it will be $60k + $2.5k in fees (reg...
Way better ROI to put that $600 towards an iphone than taking dash apart installing adapter possibly running in to issues and then taking dash apart and selling the adapter trying to recover some of your money.
You were gonna spend money on a phone anyways, might as well be Iphone. For me I...
When I used them I actually thought their initial bite was much lower than Carbotech 12s and were easy to modulate. However this was on a 2750lb GR86 with tiny brakes not a 3400lb Supra and Brembo calipers. I did not want to splurge $1000 this time around.
Rotate as in front to back left to right or take tire off wheel and swap inside/outside?
and yes, I have done similar damage to a lot of tires in 1 track day, not saying yours is due to the same issue. Maybe Nankangs are resistant to that which would make them very attractive to me.
By the way I wear out that same spot on all my front tires regardless of car or tire brand. I have done it to Michelin Primacy, Cup2, RT660, GT Radial SX2, Federal 595 RS-RR using a GR86, GR Corolla and GR Supra. Always thought it was happening due to too much understeer as that part of the tire...
You are right but I thought tires would not affect the handling style of the car as in its crappiness that makes it understeer would also make it oversteer and they would balance each other out. Like Tightening up the sway bar on both front and rear.
My biggest issue is understeer with this car...or most cars I track. I come in too hot and then try to rotate with trail braking which over slows me by the time I rotate. So either need to move braking points further and continue aggressive trail braking or slow down more on the straight and...
Why is WRC-R an upgrade to Sparco Evo?
I have issues with my neck bending thru turns and looking at the track literally sideways until I manage to straighten it. Strong neck is clearly the answer here but would Halo seat help with that?
Is it super hard to drive the car on the streets with...
I really need the headroom that the sliders would take up....My head/helmet is banging on the sides of the "helmet bubble" while rubbing the headliner. I guess race seat would limit that to a degree but still.
and is it doable to get in the seat without a removable steering wheel?
I like to sit pretty close to the wheel, about 50 degree bend at the elbows but I have long arms. Uber scientific measurements I know ahaha. I like to sit 50 bald eagle feathers away from the dashboard.
Oh man if I was not turned off by audio installation fees I would do something like this myself even though I mostly track my car and every pound off matters. I just make do with the diy sub mod.
