  1. New pistons and rings sub 20k

So basically FML for a bit. Great, thanks.
  2. New pistons and rings sub 20k

Youch! Poor guy. To avoid the down time, what would you recommend I suggest to them? Just order the block now? Do you have a case number you could give me so they can use it maybe as reference?
  3. New pistons and rings sub 20k

Full replacement? Full engine replacement? I'm totally ok with that, just want to know what I'm in for and how long I will be down. Luckily it will be winter soon and it will be garaged.
  4. New pistons and rings sub 20k

So that's where we are, Toyota just told me that I need new pistons and rings and I'm still under 20k miles on the car. I was dealing with the oil consumption issue so they advised an oil consumption test. Results were, down 2 quarts after 2500 miles. Their prognosis, new pistons and rings...
  5. Meatier Tires on Stock Wheels

I'm running 295's on stock rims with Eibach springs and 15 mm spacers. I think without the spacers, you should be fine, you may get some wheel rub on the outer liner of the rear tires (where I currently rub on hard corners or when I hit a pot hole)
  6. How much attention does your car get?

Just touchless, high pressured mixed with soap, no brushes. I still hand wash, but this is always good in a crunch.
  7. How much attention does your car get?

You mentioned that, was that your white Supra?
  8. How much attention does your car get?

In this area, you don’t see many of us on the road, I barely see any other ones, maybe one every other two weeks? And I know 3 other owners in the area! Funny enough, I work on Capitol Hill, last week I took it into the city for work, as I’m pulling in, a white A90 pulled in right behind me to...
  9. How much attention does your car get?

I’ve had good and bad experiences: I wash it at one of those laser washes, a lot of car bros also wash their cars/trucks here along with normies. Everyone vacuums after they get washed and that’s where all the shit happens. I’ve had one truck burnout, another diesel burnout, V8 high revs, pops...
  10. New (to me) 2021 A91 (Nocturnal) Mod - Spacers and Stud Conversion

I’m running 15 mm all around on stock rims, 295’s rear, 265 front. I’m also lowered on springs. The only rubbing I get is on the outside when I turn really aggressively, rubber on lining, not plastic. The outside inner liner of the rear tire has a bald spot, but that’s about it.
  11. What did you do to your Supra today?

    A wrap is in the plans… ?
  12. What did you do to your Supra today?

Went to my local grocery store and randomly found this in the pet isle. It was meant to be. Now to get all the other colors, found a few sites that offer various setups. Pretty cool. Never been able to pick up my car off grocery toy shelf before.
  13. What did you do to your Supra today?

Yeah, we got another SUV in tow, rear seats down, full of stuff. I’m like, ā€œDo you really need all this!?ā€?
  14. What did you do to your Supra today?

Dropping my daughter off at college. (they say the Supra doesn’t have trunk space…)
  15. What did you do to your Supra today?

I agree! Earlier when I was walking back to my room, one of the valet guys asked me a question about the car. It’s a vette parked in the front of the pack. As I was walking back in, another valet yelled, ā€œI’d pick the Supra over that any day of the week!ā€ Made me a proud owner. Lol
  16. What did you do to your Supra today?

Day 2.5, still parked in the VIP area. Mama would be so proud! ?
  17. What did you do to your Supra today?

Staying in NYC, valet parked the Supra for the weekend, they said they are keeping it here like it’s a Lambo or something. Real tear was shed. Mama we made it! Side note: I saw another A90 last night in Times Square, huge ass wing with a wrap. ?
  18. What size Tires fit on a lowered Supra?

I’m running 295’s with 15 mm spacers on stock rims. The only time I rub is when I’m doing a super hard turn and then what rubs is the wheel well liner, not the actual plastic so no big deal.
