Related but sorta off topic: Went to an autocross event and this dude cut about index card sized squares into his wheel fenders and also enlarged those hood holes with some mesh vents (not these, custom) and he was killing lap times all day, bracket leader. He said something about the holes...
Yeah, I kinda fall back into my car after I get my leg and foot positioned correctly. I’m 6’3, so there is really no space for error, you come in too high, you’re gonna have a bumpy head. Working your Core I feel is essential for this car, you’re practically doing a crunch everytime you get in...
Got my Supra just fixed at RPM Collision in Laurel. No issues. Color matched everything.
Hopefully the roof can be repaired and not have to be replaced.
This, I’m real skeptical of other drivers so I drive defensively for the most part. That said, I turn up my spidey sense in parkinglots due to what we just saw.
It doesn’t help that someone backed into my parked car as I was loading grocery’s in the trunk. I think I got some PTSD from that.
Supra vs ….
Just some Friday humor and maybe some discussion. Who was in the wrong here? Oh in the comments, we apparently drive super cars so we are entitled to the road. ??
(Obligatory, not my video)
Does it stay put tho? I have one similar that has straps to keep it steady. I don’t mind it but with anchors being the way they are, the case sits in the middle of the trunk where I would like it to be flush with the speaker. Can you get it to stay up near the speaker?
Man, I just got my exhaust installed. What is considered loud? I can domestics in my area from blocks away (Maryland), I know my Supra isn’t that loud but I’d imagine I can still get this ticket as well in va?
Unfortunately, no. I stopped looking and just went with springs. I’m experiencing some rub on the outside edge of my tires from them being wide and on spacers. I wonder if just went with a 305 and no spacer, would it be the same?
I get that, but for those that don’t track their cars, or don’t have access to a track in their locale, your only other option is what your car tells you (Hp readout) or a dyno.
Shop I go to has two shop Supra’s, both 750+ but will never really see a track due to no one really owning them. So...
Then why inquire or even state what you think your HP is? If you don’t want actual numbers, why even guesstimate? You don’t guesstimate your tune, but you’re ok with guesstimating hard data?
Why are people so scared of the dyno? Legit question. Had a friend buy a dyno for his shop, no one used it even tho it was a drag track 10 mins away. People scared to see their numbers?
I'm sorry, can't gloss over this. Are they saying this was corrected in the 2021? When I purchased mine, I had them do all recalls before I took delivery, this wasn't mentioned. Do you know the manufacturer date of your Supra?
