Oh you know the thought certainly crossed my mind! I would gladly opt for aftermarket, lighter parts if it was allowable. I’m still tying to see if I can work in a JDM front bumper with the repair shop. ????
Man, I was on my way to the gym when this happened. I could barely focus, all I could think about is how now I got even more bumper holes! I’m definitely getting a new bumper now! Haha
Kinda hard to see with the lighting and color of the car but I have a long line going down the center of my bumper, along with the hood being crushed in a little. And again by the sensor. Fml
Good question, the one I have is Rove Dashcam which was a gift, best gift I received in a long time. I'm sure there are better ones, you may want to check on consumer reports for that information.
Thanks man, I'll take this with me when I go to the shop and tell them what I want done. Do body shops have issues with ordering non OEM parts? Like, will they give me push back on it?
Dude, I came out the car kinda hot but when I saw him, I chilled out. I was expecting a scammer for sure. If he was trying to scam, he switched his tune as soon as I got out which I’m ok with. Insurance swapped, now it’s in their hands.
His reasoning, he wanted to be in the left lane vs the center. It’s big enough to squeeze by and make a right if he was a considerate driver, but as you can see, not dealing with the brightest bulb in the batch.
Good stuff man! Yeah, if you can find that part number, that would be great. I tried to google and kept getting body kits or custom bumpers. Is there a listing of all parts available for our car that’s accessible to the public?
lol he said he didn’t see me in his rear view mirror because my car was so low but I’m like I could see your entire passenger mirror, that one don’t work?!
This was installed when I got the car tinted. They ran the wire to the cigarette plug, they could’ve hard wired it to a power source but I didn’t want them to modify too much to make that work, so I just keep it plugged in.
Bonus: It keeps my phone in place from sliding around as well with that...
My poor hood and bumper (Warning: NSFW Music/Language) ?
Dude said he couldn’t see me, that my car was too low. My car is stock height, it’s scheduled to get lowered next month. Smh
I liked the way the car sounded from the cabin, all the clicking was the exhaust popping or was that inside the cabin? I have some creaks I hear in the rear, but can't pinpoint where they are coming from.
What all have you done to yours? Sounds like you have exhaust for sure?
So I just got the "Quart low" notification after 10k miles. I saw there is an old post on here about oil but since the car has been out for a while, what is the general consensus on oil?
Are y'all still going to the dealer or are you changing it on your own?
What weight are you using?
Toyota...
Lol I heard that extra breath you took after the spin out. Close one, did you have all nannies off? Powered too hard into the curve and tried to hold your line?
I feel this is more important than traction control but wider tires on this car does wonders to traction and stability of the rear end.
Stock tires are easier to slide around but if you wanna really learn the potential of your driving experience, go to an empty parking lot and turn off all...
