That was an exclusive special invite test drive like what most manufactures do. I would pay more attention to the unbias test reviews.
By the magnitude of how many A90's are being manufactured, the A90 could and should outsell the A80. It only sold 11,239 during a span of 6 yrs. If not...
Haha, let's put politics aside because that's a whole different discussion.
You've mentioned 1K/month and IIRC, the 1500 LE's are already accounted for. I'm going to assume they are the dealerships putting them on the showroom floor, maybe with a mark up. I want to remain optimistic as well...
+1
I bet that spokesperson wasn't even born yet when the MR2 commercial aired.
There was a campaign that Toyota did on FB that was hilarious. They asked for people to upload images of them with their Toyota doing the jump.
The MKV is for a completely different target group then the FR-S/BRZ. Comparing it's sales figures is irrelevant since it's almost double the price. I heard that the 1500 Launch Editions have been accounted for. Perhaps those are dealers that scooped them up to put in the show room/mark up...
Probably not. The fresh BOV sounds will remain with the MKIV.
Blow-off valve
A blow-off valve is not used in current models. Pressure peaks, caused by sudden load shedding due to the inertia of the turbine of the exhaust turbocharger, can be avoided by careful tuning of the Digital Motor...
IMO, it looks ok. The CF helps distract you from that cheap looking plastic ///M valve cover along with other parts mounted in different angles and disproportion to the rest of the engine bay.
It's sad indeed.
A wire tuck still won't fix ugly on today's engines. lol Too many sensors, too many wires and too much plastic that manufactures put bandaid on the wound with a plastic cover.
Exactly!! Moto-san mentioned on his FB post that Toyota's target is to attract new buyers and not previous Toyota owners. The Who and pinball machines are def not part of the millennials and generation z groups.
Ford did one (and even better then this one) for the Fiesta but this was...
He's very driven and his story leading up to the GTR is not bad for being 24 yrs old. It's almost certain he's going to get the car for his Youtube channel and will end up being a stepping stone to another car in a year or 2.
I like the throwback to the MR2 commercial and Toyota is known for having clever commercials but that CG was really bad. I remember Toyota was under some heat for not adding a disclaimer too.
