  1. Scion FR-S / Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ

IIRC, the twins had a 10 yr cycle. Without any major power increase, only cosmetic and handling upgrades, consumers are not stupid. Sales have been dropping for a reason.
  2. Toyota Presents World Debut of the New 2022 GR 86

Check our the first comment, which is similar to yours. It’s a little too late in the prod cycle on an already sinking ship. If Toyota/BMW does what Toyota/Subaru did, it’ll suffer the same fate. https://www.torquenews.com/1084/new-brz-continues-sales-slide-why-doesn-t-subaru-axe-sports-coupe
  3. Toyota Presents World Debut of the New 2022 GR 86

Finally! Good riddance and don't let the conveyor belt hit you on the way out.
  4. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

 B-J should know better. The reason why they even exist are because of old cars.
  5. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

That kid should have done a bit more research. “Only 320hp” for the Supra was a lot when compared the 94 Porsche 911 turbo with 355hp, the 1994 Corvette ZR1 with 405hp and the Ferrari 512TR with 428hp. Obviously he was too young to remember the car but until later but it was up there with the best.
  6. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

Barrett Jackson had a poll.
  7. The Z4 (382hp/3.9 0-60) is more powerful & quicker than Supra (335hp/4.1 0-60)

The MKV is essentially a single trim model since the 4 cyl isn't coming to the U.S. I was hoping that Toyota would offer it in traditional Toyota fashion without bundles and a base model like the Camry, Corolla and even GT86 in Japan offer.
  8. The Z4 (382hp/3.9 0-60) is more powerful & quicker than Supra (335hp/4.1 0-60)

The hardware for the ECU is even the same; the two cars share the 86T0 DME. After looking at the parts, it doesn't look to be very hard to replicate the power of the M40i in the Supra. For those that want to make an OEM equivalent, the primary components to change will be the pistons and rods...
  9. 2020 Toyota Supra production to begin 2018, by Magna Steyr, Austrian manufacturer

These were shared on the FB Supra page and many noticed the panel gap where the clamshell and the front bumper meet by front tire. The red one has the same thing too. I wonder if they are going to fix that?
  10. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

You're not being negative. I never seen that dude before nor do I care who he is. So when I watched his MKV review, he mentioned the common misconceptions and wants to give it a try. No harm, no foul. Then I read your reply and since I didn't know who he is, it became a moot point, since he...
  11. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Which cars and coffee do you go to? I've been laying low but sometimes I go to the Carlsbad and San Clemente ones. That's extremely rare to have a dealership's transaction so seamless. That's very good to know that there at least a dealership that will take care of their customers. Even...
  12. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

Put your emotional view from his previous vid aside since it has nothing to do with this one. On this vid, he actually likes the Supra and mentioned valid points, likes it and is planning to get one.
  13. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

That’s great to hear. I’ve found LA dealerships are easier to work with then ones in SD. I’m also in San Diego and bought my Tacoma from Carson Toyota. At the time, Longo didn’t have the one I wanted or else I would bought it from them.
  14. The new 718 Porsche Cayman & Boxster thread: + GT4 Clubsport

 That Yaris ain't no slouch though. Hopefully it'll beat the Fiat! ;) It's running in the R-GT class. The car will compete in the FIA's R-GT class, meaning it'll go head to head with cars like the Aston Martin Vantage, Porsche 997 GT3, and Fiat 124 Abarth. Its first test run is...
  15. The new 718 Porsche Cayman & Boxster thread: + GT4 Clubsport

Hell yeah! Porsche's love to race, no matter what the track conditions are. https://www.motor1.com/news/262986/porsche-cayman-clubsport-rally-debut/
  16. The Supra B58 engine has potential (440whp/460wtq)

That would be the problem since it's essentially a "BMW". GReddy doesn't have anything and HKS has just an exhaust and BOV for BMW's. 3 years should have been enough time to develop aftermarket parts. You referenced AMS and it took them a while to finally build the Alpha Omega GTR. With...
  17. The Supra B58 engine has potential (440whp/460wtq)

I'm aware of that but I'm talking about the B58 in general since it's been out for a while several years now.
  18. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

Here is the follow up to the brotha talking shit about the MKV.:rofl::rofl:
  19. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

 Yeah, I laughed too. You know them Slopar owners... This kid has a bright future ahead of him in automotive journalism.
