So you eliminate the brake calliper flex by adding more sprung weight. I can't imagine the stock rear callipers are that bad on a road car to make it worth the money and effort.

I think that second step is the diaphragm spring in the pressure plate over centreing which isn't great and will probably lead to eventual spring failure. In other words the release bearing travel is too great or it's shimmed too closely to the pressure plate spring fingers. I guess you could...
I don't hate it but it looks a bit "generic" now. Mind you it's going to be hard to make anything really "pop" with the grey colour. I'm tempted to say I'll wait till you've put the colour over the primer before I comment but I won't say that.

 Ok I misunderstood your post to a degree. You are correct in that the bulk of the time for this particular job to access the component and bleeding and a few hours for that seems realistic.

Ok cool thanks. Quality in fit and construction is very important to me with any aftermarket stff. I've not actually seen that design before either.

Great wheel colour. They would look good on any body colour. Black/dark wheels are so, yesterday.

Umm, all those things are part of the job. Try and convince the local auto tech forget lifting the car and accessing the component you're only going to pay him for the time to remove and install the part, nothing else. :)

Sure but the problem is I don't let anyone else drive my cars or ride my bikes and don't expect any different from them. However if you want me to drive your car and evaluate it compared to mine I will. I'm never comfortable doing that but if you want me to I will to give you another...
Honestly I think that looks very average and I wouldn't be happy with that personally however I understand the issues. I have a Raceneg knob to fit and although I have their collar to use I don't really like it either. Part of the issue with yours and in general is that the cable tie used to...
Ha, as a general comment and not specific to the CDV what you are referring to is the internet forum "how long does it take" divisional factor. You take the actual time for any given task and divide it by a factor of 2-4 and quote that as the time it took you to do the job ,lol.
Its a...
That would mean that they 1 would need to use something "different" to what they usually use ( read scary for them) and 2 they would need to source the green coolant at a cost much higher than they buy the blue coolant in bulk therefore cutting into/eliminating their profit margin on the...
