FYI - this is what I saw with a quick search. Stock downpipe/exhaust clamp: 25Nm/18ft-lb Stock turbo/downpipe v-band: 19Nm/14ft-lb I dont know how accurate that is, but my V band on the turbo isnt super tight I think for some reason I went to 25 ft/lbs on both

Dont overtighten! Could also cause a leak and you dont need to bend or break anything. Let it cool, pop the hood and fire it up. Quickly check the turbo housing for a leak and then jump under the car (dont burn yourself) and see if you can feel any air escaping!

Sounds about right with the stock exhaust! I would give it a quick feel, but if you really smell it I would suspect its at the turbo and hasn't been through the cat yet. Are you double sure you have a gasket, its lined up and tightened at the V band?

Give that a double check, for sure. Is eveything else aligned ok? Bracket with two nuts on it and is it fully seated on the catback? If you start on a cold engine you may be able to put a hand down there at the catback for a few seconds and see if you can feel any exhaust gasses coming out.

I do! I never had a smell of exhaust in the engine bay, which would make me think there is a leak. Did you get a new gasket? Did you get the old one off the turbo/dp? Want to make sure you dont have either; no gasket OR a double gasket.

I have a base model so probably a 14, but it looks good :)

@Eastwood has the RSR springs that look great as well. Less aggressive than Whiteline. Similar to the Z4/Euro Eibach ones

Sadly it seems that after I placed the order, I spoke with Mike at x-ph to swap to the new matte silver tips and he cancelled my order which charged me 5% of the HKS Super Turbo system and is non-refundable. Will most likely go with another seller at this point as simply losing that much money...
