Well, two things.
1. AWE doesn’t use the valve
2. Valve is closed on cold start
I’d have to get a tune, or put the stock exhaust back on for a bit.
Engine cover off. Intake box out. Unclip O2 sensors up top. Unbolt v band on turbo housing. Jack up car. Two bolts on bracket. One at the exhaust. Hardest part is getting it free from the catback. After that it’s all smooth sailing! Really not too bad.
Adhesive only here in 100+ temps down to -20 at varying speeds. 3M automotive grade is amazing. You’ll be fine as long as you have the contact patch for it.
I was so torn between these and Titan7s, you cannot go wrong with either!! They look amazing. A local GR86 has the Titan7s in gray and they look amazing.
OR adopt a local Greyhound, lovely dogs :)
DONT buy these wheels. My camera memory is full of pictures of my car now. You’ve been warned.
Mine were quite noisy with lowering springs, so I’m running 10/13 mm spacers. Whiteline springs. 265/35 and 295/35 continental tires
How much do you plan to adjust? I went with the Whiteline setup and love that it lowered ~1” and isn’t a harsh ride. I highly recommend them. I also know I’m a bit lazy and probably wouldn’t adjust them anyways
Thanks to Burger Tuning for quick shipping on some spacers and lug bolts! Got me sorted with some 10mm front and 13mm rear, which I will be using on the OEM wheels as well. Bummer the Apex wheels are so noisy, didn't get any noise with the OEM wheels.
Absolutely! This was just sitting there with a little piece of frog tape to hold it still. I have like 8 measuring points and will absolutely make sure it’s aligned + out in the sun on a hot day
I know. I either need the warm start roar disabled or have a shop weld the valve into the AWE touring setup? Gonna put the resonated mid pipes back on I guess. *sigh*
Recently bought a cheap a91 replica and am torn on which to run! Neither is secured to the car and alignment is off as I just placed them with some painters tape to check it out.
