Slight change of plans. Will be there Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Most likely do dinner/drinks at Tequila Jacks in the Shoreline Village on Friday night then walk back to the boat for some late night drunken fishing. So if anyone is in the area, feel free to join us!
Looks like I will be back at the boat next weekend. So if any of you want to meet up at the Long Beach marina, I will be there, probably all weekend. Come chill on the boat and have a drink!
By putting "an" in front of "I" I assume you mean an "I" instead of a "L", both being uppercase. If that is the case, he did not miss the "i". He misses nothing...
Went to the body shop to drop off some parts and visit the car. Poor thing has never been outside in the elements this long in its life, let alone in the rain. They did say they are going to start assembly tomorrow but are still waiting on the door before they can start painting all the new panels.
So the downside to Ohlins is that if you need individual parts, you are waiting a month for them to come in from Sweden. No one stocks them in the US. If you are on a time crunch like me, it forced me to buy a full set just for 2 parts....
Good news for you guys is that when the replacement...
I would like to have a word with the first quarter of 2023 as well. It was highly confused!
You really had to bring back up the drought years didnt you!? I got cited for my sprinklers coming on a hour too late. This was thanks to a power outage over the night and my sprinkler timer resetting...
It does not rain in socal, ever. You should know this. These next 4 days of forecasted rain is just a simple glitch in the matrix.
@kaj - hit me up on your way back if you need a rest stop. You will be passing right by me.
Thats less damage than my car. So I will say not totaled since mine didnt get totaled. Parts availability is pretty good right now. Only part I am waiting on is the drivers door.
Then why run it on a car!? Cars come from the factory with an air filter for a good reason!
Bro, this was a 1000 fbhp build. That stands for fan blade horsepower btw. It's legit!
Old air filter that was not up to Off road duties. It might kinda work when new and freshly oiled but when old, all the fine particles get by. Turns your oil into liquid sandpaper. This is why we manufacture Off road specific air filters and recommend to replace yearly if used a lot...
Here is a real life example for you guys. This is a bit exaggerated for street related usage but this is what happens when you run your vehicle in the dirt for 20 min with the wrong air filter. Was a brand new build before this.
Note - the skirts of the pistons were once fully coated. I...
People who don't run air filters or run improper air filters for their application is what keeps me having a job. So yes, it's fine to run without one.
Is the spring anything to worry about? Was pretty sure it was out of the way and that it would hit the liners well before the spring.
I forget but is your spring mounted on the top or bottom of the coilover? Thought it was at the bottom.
You guys will have plenty of room between the tire and coilover. Its the fender liners that you have to worry about with a 315 or bigger tire. I am effectively at a 37 offset on 315s and still rub the inside liners. I think a 35 offset would be perfect for me but my car isnt that low and I run a...
