Dam haha, the problem im having is im throwing a vanos code and currently my car will not go into launch control so im trying to chase that issue down. I need to clear the code and see if it comes back because im not throwing any actual visible CEL.
I ran into a widebody srt8 charger yesterday...
My ecu date is 2019 so I should be fine with a bench unlock, im currently waiting for my MHD flash adapter so that I can check to see if my ecu has been unlocked already or not.
Its not installed anymore, so essentially if it's not plugged in then its back to the factory ecu correct?
I just wanna make sure the piggyback can't change any parameters prior to being removed and then leaving them after being taken off if the owner parted the car.
Sorry for all the threads but im trying to chase some issues.
Can the factory ecu be hard reset?
My A90 may have potentially been tuned with a piggyback but the issue is I have zero clue if it has been or hasn't been. At this point trying to reset it to stock seems like the safest bet and...
That was probably me lol I have the oem 2 tone wheels but im on lowering springs with carbon mirror caps and carbon duck tail.
I agree 100% I didn't even know what time to get there in order to get spots. I just moved to the area recently
This is what I was wondering but it seems like bm3 is the popular remote tune. The thing that threw me was im not finding a whole lot of remote tunders, seems like most prefer to do in house.
Lmao im not trying to go ridiculous lmao but definitely more then factory boost and power levels and since I have a downpipe already just getting some additional ignition timing etc would be fantastic. But a few corvettes along the way wouldn't be bad ?
Hoping someone might no a decent tuner in the Bowling Green area, I know there's been a few A90s at beech bend but im not sure if they're tuned.
Picked up my A90 a week ago and would love.some input from some of the local guys who are more familiar
Unfortunately it was not a Toyota dealership, just a dealership that has higher end cars and stuff that is a little more unique.
They had it listed as an "aftermarket exhaust" but it wasn't the whole exhaust it was just the downpipe and they weren't actually sure of the details because I asked...
This is a good point I didnt even think about the fact its catless and I should be throwing a cel. Interestingly according to bimmerlink my boost level is right about 13lbs which is right at factory levels isn't it?
I was emailing John at ces and he said most 93 tunes should be around 23lbs.
Hahaha I dont blame you, the supra has become my daily and I dont know how I've managed to stay above 22mpg around town ??. I know people were so upset because there was no manual but with the stop and go traffic here in BG, I love not having to 1st gear, 2nd gear, back to first gear constant...
So hopefully the community can help since some of these don't seem to be mentioned anywhere and are mildly concerning based on reading.
For background, I bought my MKV about a week ago from a dealership, she had 29k miles, best guess to putting mileage that high so quick would be medical sales...
One of these JUST arrived at my local dealership and they want 65k plus a 5k markup so 70k before tt&L. Its hard to even consider that when you can buy a launch edition or 3.0 premium for 55k and have 15k to put into all the carbon you want but then again some people want the plaque.
There's a...
I would have said yes but the flex area still looks different and the mounting tab, I was thinking potentially the CTS because this could have been heat cycled plenty of times.
Just picked up my MKV 2 days ago and this does not appear to be the factory downpipe. Seems to have a different selection of flex pipe and was wondering if anyone might know the brand since I don't see any markings. I'll get under the car at some point but ive been too busy with work.
Thank...
