After waiting 13 months for my car the list price had gone up 1400 odd dollars ( no markups here). Thing was the sales person had forgotten to notify me and we showed up with a bank cheque for the original amount. Outcome...we paid the original sticker price without the increase. Turns out there...
May! not a chance in hell. Even if the build was completed a week ago the current shipping times are between 60 and 72 days to Au east coast then there's unloading and Toyota delivery centre PD and usually a 2 week wait for BMW to send the Nav system software after the car has landed and the...
Mine turns about 2250 indicated at 100kph (60mph) All things considered it's pretty short geared for a 3 litre turbo with such a flat torque curve which surprised me a little.

No, what happens is the front tyres run over the nail/screw and lifts it off the road surface and bounces it up so it has a better chance of piercing the rear tyre. Every time someone in my area has some major building work done on their house or renovations it's always nail/screw in the tyres...
I can never figure this dislike with regards to markups from Americans in particular. I mean the US is the bastion of the free market capitalistic system which although far from perfect it is in large part responsible for the std of living we enjoy in the wester world today so what's the issue...
Thats never going to be an issue on std ride height and sensible offset like you have. The wheels don't move vertically through the travel as the suspension is independent so the top of the wheel rotates inwards to clear the guard as the suspension compresses.
I'm not even sure the tyre lip...
One thing I noticed with the Nav thats a little different is if the system detects you have departed from a mapped road, so at road works for instance where you are directed "off piste" the Nav system just tells you the nav function is now unavailable. When you get back onto the normal road...
Well I'd rather have the extra radiator for the cooling head room because it can get pretty warm here but I guess the Manual doesn't have the influence of the trans cooler on the engine cooling system as I mentioned before and also the reduction in weight and complexity with the omission of 2...
Either an Aussie thing or a build date thing. Not sure. The inlet is blanked off as is the exit louvers on the LHS and via a torch and mirror there's a big vacant space in there. I wonder if the Euro spec manuals have the l/h aux radiator. If not thats what we may get.
Phil
Well my 2023 B58 manual has no l/h Aux radiator. My assumption is that without the primary and secondary radiators in the front not having the burden of the auto transmission cooler in front of them reducing their effectiveness they don't need the extra aux radiator.

Two things, minor tyre flat spotting from sitting over night and psychology. First drive of the day you're mentally focused on it and after you stop you have other things distracting you. Same with a passenger or the wife. Other distractions. I fall for stuff like this sometimes and I'm aware...
Serpentine belt possibly. I've had these and V belts make some very strange noises first drive of the day in cold temps. If I suspect a noise is coming from a Serpentine or V belt I give it a quick spray on the drive side with some WD40 and see if the noise goes away. Not approved of course but...
Ok. Makes it easier to follow when people quote what they are responding to.
Water meth port injection isn't the whole answer to inlet valve carbon build up anyway, port fuel injection is the best answer. Gasoline has detergents included in it to keep the back of the valves clean as the...
