Hey, the MKV Supra might end up having a similar case as with the E46 M3’s....where the SMG was actually the 6speed Getrag manual transmission with a different tail housing and actuators added. If none of you are familiar with the E46 conversions, Google “E46 SMG to Manual Conversion.”
Highly boosted Twin Turbo V6's across the board on all "F" cars. I can't see Lexus being the last luxury automaker to be using big displacement V8's anymore.
Honestly, if the automatic is a real DSG or SMG and shifts like a true dual clutch transmission....it really won't be all that bad if you think about it. Every video I see online with "1000hp Supra's" terrorizing highways and streets, I think to myself...."how much faster could a 1000hp Supra...
This guy and the guy from Pure Function should get together and make a new YouTube channel called Pure Bullshit....because I agree with you Guff, they say some of the dumbest shit.

Oh well....as much as I love the manual transmission, it seems like it's days of glory are...

Not to sound negative or anything, but do these petitions actually work? I know petitions say for example "we need our street resurfaced" work, because we pay taxes for it. However, do you think Toyota will actually listen or care about this?
Just like anything else in today's world....there are good apples and bad apples in every bunch...no exception to dealerships. I remember when the 350Z came out in 2003, and dealers were selling them for $50k+ just because it was the return of the Z. This price gouging went on the following...
Wait...is this "THE" Stu Hagen? If so, didn't know you had an R35 as well...awesome!
Not to steer this thread in a different direction, but I will soon be in the market for an R35 GTR....any advice?
