Beautiful job on the Z! I absolutely love 'em. I like it much better than the new 400Z coming out. I actually looked at them vs the Supra, but the Supra won out because of the stronger motor and seemed like a better platform overall for a track car. Still, something about the 370Z just gets me...
What's the weight on 'em? Remember that un-sprung weight is a real killer to performance. Whatever I ultimately go with - if anything - a requirement of mine is that they must be the weight same or lighter than the stock wheels.
It really did only take me a few seconds to do, but I still had the airbox out of the car. Going to do the AOS install this afternoon while the Cusco brace is out of the car then the master cylinder brace is next. You've found that it really makes that big of a difference? One of my complaints...
Here is the response I received from Verus this morning:
Loosen the two M8 bolts, push the heatshield as far up as possible and retighten the M8 bolts. If it is pushed up as high as it can go before tightening down the M8 bolts it will not touch. We test fit one here in-house on a 6 port model...
This. Highly recommended for anyone doing the install. Would have prevented me from dropping one of the spacers down into the engine compartment at one point. The Car Gods were on my side and I could luckily reach it without taking anything apart. Could have been a real PITA.
Duh. Of course. Thanks. Still going to keep an eye on it. The way the heat shield is cut leads to me to believe it wasn't intended to touch like this, but I'll reach out to them and ask. I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

I agree with @Loco38SUP that it should include an install diagram or maybe they should update their video for the '21, as the install process is different. It's fairly obvious...

I will echo this sentiment. My initial impression after about an hour drive after installation is that it definitely pulls harder. I could feel this mostly when initiating a pass when starting midway up the tach in 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear. You can feel the boost build and the car just whips you...
