So this leads me to ask the question, with a JB+ on the car, getting about 4psi extra boost, should I upgrade the charge pipe? I've heard the stocks ones are pretty solid but thought I'd ask the experts here.
All this mess really just wants to make me powder coat my stock wheels. They look great when a single color, they're light, they're strong, and most importantly they won't damage anything when you out them on the car!
Very good point! Thanks for the advice. Moreso than anything, what will probably make the biggest difference in performance is upgrading the component between the seat and the steering wheel! ;)
Doh! Thanks for the tip. The first place the car is going after the spring install is to get an alignment, which honestly, I should probably do now from the factory anyway given how out of spec some of these cars are coming. I'm considering a full SPL setup ($$$) which from what I understand...

It depends on how hard you crank down the bolts. ? I don't see how it could pivot - I have the Cusco brace on my '21, and while I'm not a big fan of the blue, the cross brace in the front does see to make a difference. It feels much "sharper" and turn-in feels better.
Thanks for all the opinions and information everyone has shared on this thread. I've decided to just run with the AA catted downpipe. Much like @zrk, I'm not about getting the absolute most power out of the car that I can. Just something fun to drive on the street and do a track day about once a...
I was reading a threat last night which for the life of me I cannot find now where someone stated that the difference in horsepower and torque gains between a high-quality catted downpipe and an uncatted downpipe were only single digits. This surprised me as I thought the potential with the...
