Would you mind shooting a couple of pics down each end of the component? I'd like to compare it to the aFe downpipe I received and an issue I've found with it.
Yeah these guys apparently race in the NHRA. They got into the finals a couple weekends ago but they were rained out. I think it was pushed to this weekend? Pretty fun talking to them about it.
Yep! Along with a downpipe, springs, sway bars, and one of those Cusco under-car braces since it needs to come off for the exhaust install anyways. I've got an office full of parts that are a small time commitment I'm putting on but am taking them the parts that are a heavier lift.
Right on. I'm in the same boat - no comfortable way to do it for something like an exhaust. Easier just to pay someone. Have an AWE Track that should be here in a couple on weeks. What did you end up with?
Right on. Let me know if you can't sell them locally and I'll likely take them off your hands. Understood on the shipping costs. Looking for some stock wheels to wrap some race rubber around, and for stock wheels, they're actually quite light and of high quality.
Honestly I wouldn't want to give you an incorrect number - I just don't know. Seems like most folks I see on here are posting less than $200 for installing a cat back system. If they charged me that or a bit more I'd still go there given the quality of their work (personal experience) and...
...actually just did the resonator delete yesterday in prep for this, so perfect timing. :) Really impressed with the quality of Verus' stuff. Glad someone mentioned them in the forums. Thanks much!
I've taken BMWs and VWs to Motorsports of Lexington (1044 West High St., Lex, KY 40508) for decades. They're expensive, but great guys and pretty much all of them race at some semi-pro or pro-level, so they know what they're doing. I'm taking a bunch of stuff to them in mid-June when it's all in...
Anyone know if this will allow for their AOS to be installed without having to trim the factory heat shield like you would if you didn't replace it? I ordered the AOS and the recirculation kit along with it then realized it didn't explicitly state anything about it. I would be surprised if it...
Man I love the new Stingers.
So it looks like there are at least a couple of us here. I've seen a handful around the area. Saw an A91 at a "cars and coffee" event I was at a couple of weeks ago and a silver one getting on I-64 in Frankfort that I tried to catch-up to but it was gone by the time...
IMO as someone in the field:
For applications of technology like this, it's never about breaking the encryption (which should be mathematically sound as long as standards-based algorithms are used), but rather either someone's implementation of it (library that handles the encryption) or an...
I've pulled the cams out of many cars and have never encountered a wavy wear pattern like that before. I'm not saying there's anything wrong, just haven't encountered it myself. Interested to hear what others say about it. Will look at my '21 tomorrow.
