I'm with you man. I've never owned an auto car myself, so this one definitely cuts straight to the heart. As sad as it may seem, at least we will always have the aftermarket. Won't be cheap but at least it'll be possible.
Does any manufacturer still use automated single-clutch manuals? They seemed to have been phased out; with the old Aventador being one of the last ones.

What would be the advantage to pairing a "psuedo-manual" like this to a DCT vs a TC Auto though? The time it takes you to move that lever is still slower than a shift on either a DCT or a good Torque Converter.
