It’s not. Only reason tuners hype ecutek is because they have bought in to a very expensive tuning platform and are trying to get their investment back.
CSF is worse than OEM so yea, don’t do that. Hyped marketing.
I run OEM radiator and heat exchanger and mainly track the car, which is basically 10x equivalent street miles. No issues.
Stop being lazy, spend the $950 and do the Femto unlock. The people going on tirades about this are either broke af or too paranoid to see that it’s a super simple process that takes a week or less.

It all comes down to user error. I have no issues with any of the dongles (and I have a drawer full) when properly setup. I've also helped others set them up correctly and they magically go from "this thing is a POS" to "oh.. it works now".
Dorch does it too unless you up the oil pressure. First track day with the Dorch it happened to me shifting into 6th. Upped the oil pressure in the pits and it never happened again.
