If you're going for a G30-770/900 then a top mount kit its just a waste of money in my opinion. It looks cool but that's about it, no other benefit.
The Remnant Performance kit will make more power than a G30-900 and the entire kit will cost less than half of a top mount kit.
I've seen many people liking the M throttle blips feature that is on the Stage 3 map. Can anyone explain what it does exactly? Is it just more throttle applied during downshifts? What is the benefit of it?
There’s an argument going around that since raised torque limits will prevent slippage there’s actually less wear on the transmission.
There’s many people with Gen 1 B58s and ZF8s who have been running a Stage 3 XHP flash with Stage 2 ECU tunes for years and haven’t had any problems.
I ran 11.78 @120mph with a 1.98 60ft.
Car has a catless downpipe and HKS drop in filter with an MHD Stage 2 OTS map on 93 octane.
I also have 17 inch wheels in the back with Mickey Thompson ET Street SS in 305/45.
With a better 60ft I think a low 11 should be possible. With a custom tune it...
Let's use this thread to share our experiences and feedback on the newly released XHP software for the Supra. Before / After 60-130 and 1/4 mile and other testing would be very welcome!
This will be especially interesting for the EU models. Here the factory transmission tune is noticeably slower than in the US.
Xhp should make a huge difference.
MHD will mostly likely release OTS flex fuel maps as well. All you will need is their flex fuel kit which will be around $450-500.
You really won’t find a better cost/value solution so it’s worth the wait in my opinion.
