    Yeah I think it was an attempt by Toyota to make it look like the FT1 while trying to fit it within the Z4's short wheel base.

    If Toyota were to use its own platform than it would have been most likely be the GA-L which also underpins the new LC, LS & Crown, and not that dated Frankenstein match up they used for the RC.     I don't know how any body can call the new NSX ugly while saying the R35 is a good looking car. Yeah I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, blah blah blah. :p I think most will agree that both look like @ss when compared to their predecessor.
