they definitely have best in class interiors most of the time IMO
my favorite interiors however (and perhaps not shockingly) are Lexus; a lot folks say they have a lack of cohesiveness, but I think they are incredibly elegant and futuristic.
got some updates last night.
they were at least testing an N/A 4cyl but not sure if that's still a go (my source said that may end up just a bmw Z4 offering). the turbo 4cyl (spec-A) is still in development and did recieve a power bump around the same time the 6cyl went to 385hp. lastly, there...
'F' falls under the Gazoo banner (has for around a year or so now) despite their budgets falling under different divisions, so it more or less goes without saying that they would be involved.
I think what Tomoyama is saying is that regular F treatment is no longer enough and that more GRMN...
if they want to sell more of them, they would need to lower the price... adding to prestige/image =/= profit.
that said, maybe they dont care about that and instead just want a premium halo car.
based on sales figures and the actual cost to produce the car, I hope that ends up being the case because right now the car is what like $100k and the LC-F is rumored to be 150k +/-
I always numb my hopes and dreams though because business just doesnt go purely according to logic or wants.
interesting...
well, my biggest questions as of now: are there two 4cyl cars or two 6cyl cars because my understanding was that there was only a single variant of both.
yeah, headlight and tailights are the easiest way.
the Spec-A should also have floating calipers on at least the rear (I was told all corners, but one of the mules has floating on only the rear), as where Spec-B has fixed on all fours.
that's a Spec-A car, so that should be the turbo 4cyl unless they are still developing the lower powered 6cyl.
after a conversation I had earlier, im starting to think they bumped the 4cyl power up to 280hp +/-
just asked about the 4cyl power level and was met with this response: "who said it is 240hp?"
couldn't get any other information unfortunately :(
wonder if they increased the power level much like the did on the 6cyl...
typo'd, meant 240hp
the information on the Spec-A has been really limited though since BMW is primarily the one testing that car apparently. I'd have to ask some confirmation on power levels in order to be sure.
that dash card from above shows the lower power level and I had heard 240hp, so...
