I'm hoping Tomoyama is given extra budget by Akio to refine the platform versus using existing funds. If they are given that 'grant' so to speak, the cars price could stay the same and end up benefitting the performance without much of a downside.

You can snap your fingers and add 10-15k during car development; so it's not difficult to do. Everything costs money, especially manpower.

haha, well you're in for a treat because apparently it's an advanced version of the TVD (electronic torque vectoring diff) seen in the RC-F/GS-F. It is likely just an option though as it is on the latter two vehicles...

there are a few things in the pipeline, but I suppose the most interesting thing is an experimental differential being tested.

the test mule is right around 3100lbs, so yeah expecting lighter than that would be kind of baseless IMO
