They had come to an agreement to co-develop future tech much like Nissan is doing with Mercedes etc

BMW had the Z4 chassis as-is but was considering dropping it entirely, and so Toyota proposed to co-develop the chassis and Toyota would basically have their own shell.

there are a few things in the pipeline, but I suppose the most interesting thing is an experimental differential being tested.

haha, well you're in for a treat because apparently it's an advanced version of the TVD (electronic torque vectoring diff) seen in the RC-F/GS-F.

It is likely just an option though as it is on the latter two vehicles...

I would just love to see that active rear wing and a proper straight six howl
