One good thing about 86 is, there are countless interior/exterior/powertrain mods out there since almost like day 1. If it's tuning you want it's there. If you want it to stand out, ext mods are there, but yeah you'll still be in an 86.. From a segment/price/weight point, surely 400z is at 86...

If I didn't have the 86 already and there was a faster/better/etc. Japanese car between 86 & Supra 3.0, I could have considered it. So, I think 400z will be threat no matter what, both to 2.0 and 3.0... Also, many other sports car, muscle, German rivals in the price range...

You need to ask yourself if you want to keep the mods. If yes, just buy EcuTek and tune it whichever way you like. If you will revert the car to stock, then it's stupid of Delicious tuning to force you to buy. You don't want license or the hardware. Any EcuTek dealers closeby? Just go and ask...
