  1. 2021 Supra battery replacement

it's under the board in the trunk. You will need to crawl in there to use the emergency trunk release to open the trunk since the battery is dead. If you replace the battery with the same specs, no programming neccessary.
  2. Insurance question --Those with modifications, please chime in

It's not a daily. I have the 6,000 mile/year insurance. I might actually go over those miles this year so I am going to ask them if they have a higher tier or I might have to go to Grundy or Hagerty. Does not cover track use. I get separate track insurance for that. You will be hard pressed to...
  3. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

You know what I meant, the exhaust runners are cast into the head and merge into two ports where the 21+ has six "normal" exhaust ports. Literally states it in the tech doc that the manifold is cast into the head on 20.
  4. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Yes, head is different, 20 has the exhaust manifold integrated into the head. 21+ has six seperate ports like older style head castings and therefore the six log exhaust manifold.

Some ECU table differences between 20 and 21+ for reference:
  6. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

21+ is actually 10.2 CR 20 is 11.1 CR 21+ has higher torque-target programming because of the lower compression (stock)
  7. Airbag error lights/warnings easy coding!

As other have already said, this isn’t even touching anything in the ECU so works on all years.

I insure mine through NCM (https://www.ncminsurance.com/) for stated worth including all modifications.
  9. Is there a headlight level sensor on the front?

Front left as well. I like how those instructions are showing the rear sensor totally installed upside down. lol

  13. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

If you download TunerPro, you can also tweak things in the BEF rom files you have. You can open it up and modify tables. A lot of "tuners" don't want anyone to know that.
  14. Carb compliance

I don't think that means what you think it means. I'm sure women in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky and the other banned states can tell you allllll about free will.
  15. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Yes, with no issue as long as you are smart about the boost curve tuning. Here is my personal Supra with a Pure 700, E42 in this log and almost 28 psi out the top. I have run up to E45, in warmer weather, the HPFP angle gets closer to maxing out at 126* but usually it's around 105-115*. 104*...
  16. Crash Supras on Public Roads

Lmao, my wife reminds me of this every time it comes up. She is a Jersey girl and I try to poke fun any chance I get.
  17. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

If you are already at 140, what's 150,160? Or just don't look at your MPH. I rarely do.
  18. Good app/dongle combo for monitoring spark knock (KR)?

You can use the Bootmod3 logger app without having bootmod3.
  19. What did you do to your Supra today?
