My D01 absolute zero pen from Toyota matched like ass. My D01 paint from Scratches Happen matched PERFECTLY. So my goal was to match my paint that is on the car, which Toyota was not able to accomplish.

I did the same install except I used the actual ground by the fender. I don't think I would trust grounding to the strut top bolt.

The red piece is already off. If someone needs instructions on how to pop that red cover off they have zero business doing anything in that engine bay. Just close the hood. As far as the black part:

Yeeaaaa. Don't hold your breath. I think they learned their lesson with the LFA and LC500. The whole reason Toyota did the MK5 Supra the way they did is to NOT repeat their previous mistakes.

They are coming out with 295 and I believe 305 this year. They already sell the 295 overseas. Closer to OEM gearing, speedo not being off.

It's for safety. Easier to extract if something goes wrong. Not that it matters on the supra, I can't even fit a helmet through the open window. Same with the Camaro.
