My D01 absolute zero pen from Toyota matched like ass. My D01 paint from Scratches Happen matched PERFECTLY.
So my goal was to match my paint that is on the car, which Toyota was not able to accomplish.
I've been tracking for 20+ years and I'm over rainy track days. It's just not fun to me anymore. I avoid them. Maybe I'm a snowflake.
Now snow is a different story, I like a big arse rooster tail like nobody's business.
The red piece is already off. If someone needs instructions on how to pop that red cover off they have zero business doing anything in that engine bay. Just close the hood.
As far as the black part:
Yeeaaaa. Don't hold your breath. I think they learned their lesson with the LFA and LC500.
The whole reason Toyota did the MK5 Supra the way they did is to NOT repeat their previous mistakes.
It's for safety. Easier to extract if something goes wrong. Not that it matters on the supra, I can't even fit a helmet through the open window. Same with the Camaro.
