  3. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Jelly of you Florida guys being on track in February! Looks like you are doing a lot of coasting into braking zones in that video. Probably gain a couple seconds there.
  4. OEM seat vs Bucket seat weight loss

I was taking my seats out for a rollbar install and decided to do some weighing to see how much a proper bucket seat saves us. OEM Drivers seat: 55.4lbs Sparco Evo with Brey-Krause side mounts, Brey-Krause six point bar (attaches to BK Side mounts), OEM belt buckle, and Schroth six point...
  5. ECU reset?

All those symptoms are classic bad battery. Might show as charged but it could be damaged from going dead. It going dead from just a week of no driving also points to it being on its last legs to begin with.
  6. Need to understand why my A91-MT...

You might be joking here (I hope) but North America mainly consists of USA, Canada, Mexico, and Greenland. All four with different offerings as far as products Puerto Rico is a U.S. Territory, so it's a little bit of a hazy line between all those but as you can tell, it also gets different...
  7. Cheap Track Tires

Yea that would be great as I am curious about the RR's because they are priced well in 295/30/18 but $$$$$ in any other size. lol. Best price I have found for the Kumho V730 is on SimpleTire: https://simpletire.com/brands/kumho-tires/ecsta-v730 I bought from them, they are legit.
  8. Loving new Supra. Early experience and questions

Even then it doesn't guarantee against failure. All the new Corvette Z06 engines are run through an engine dyno before being put into the car and we have already seen some early failures from them.
  9. Which coolant should I add?

That is because Toyota has no idea how to service the Supra correctly. Just use BMW HT-12 #83192468442
  10. trash site

Those are interesting. I know a bunch of VW guys use the alibaba turbos and found out they are the same turbos vendors are selling for much more.
  11. Cheap Track Tires

Kumho v730’s are, imho, the best “budget” track tire. There are close to the super 200’s and only cost $179 each in 275/35/18. Absolute bargain for the price/performance ratio.
  12. HKS Coilovers for A90 Supra

D2’s are trash. Ohlins are basically the same price as the HKS and much better, but to each their own…
  13. M340XI to Supra?

The Supra will be much better with consumables and heat management for track use than the M340xi. It's almost a 600lb difference. Also, if you don't have the cooling package on the 340xi, the Supra has it standard.
  14. 4/5-point harnesses with stock seats

Having done this, it will only get rid of the airbag error. You will still have the seat position error.
  15. 4/5-point harnesses with stock seats

    Nope, only protool or ISTA.
  16. 4/5-point harnesses with stock seats

Not a pipe dream. Proven and easy. ? I even wrote up a how-to:https://www.supramkv.com/threads/airbag-error-lights-warnings-easy-coding.14617/

    Here you go:https://www.schrothracing.com/item/profi-ii-asm/fia-4-point-asm
  18. 4/5-point harnesses with stock seats

Nice thing about the Schroth FIA harness is that you can add the six point after the fact. Which is exactly what I did. I used a brey-krause sub belt mount: https://www.bkauto.com/R_9258_Sub_Strap_Mount_for_BK_Side_Mount_System_p/r-9258.htm
  19. 4/5-point harnesses with stock seats

Schroth make a FIA ASM harness for any car. I run it in my Supra and the same one in my evo before.
