Flex Fuel on the 8 has been out for at least 10 years. Same with Evo 9 except it started out with only a few tuners having access to the ROM changes. Now it's open if you know where to look.
I was part of the dev on both the 8 and 10. I've lost count on how many I have tuned on flex fuel at...
Yea engine sport mode is the same other than throttle mapping and obviously the crackles. Keep in mind the throttle mapping is also tied to torque target but at WOT both modes are basically the same. You are probably feeling the overall difference with the other throttle angles. Basically sport...
It really depends on you. I've done the whole gutted interior track car thing before and I am personally over it. I now strive for both. Track capability plus a nice looking car, even though, much like you, the car isn't a daily for me.
That is what I have always loved about the Porsche...
A lot of timing reduction and even negative timing adaption which happens when it's really bad. Low timing overall because of that. Too much tune for the octane you are using. Especially once you get into 5th gear.
There is some torque intervention (131072) because your load actual is higher...
TRD doesn't mean made by them. You would be amazed how many parts aftermarket are sourced from the same place and slapped with different logos.
I base this on experience working in the industry, but yes, I have no facts other than the parts look 100% the same.
Go ahead and pay double the price...
They probably source it from the same place blitz and cusco do.
Okay, I've said it enough now. For the people that get it, good on you, for the people that still don't... Well, have fun.
Pretty sure they source it from the exact same place Cusco and Blitz do.
If you think they make those at bmw/toyota I have some great deals on a timeshare for you.
Carl? He is busy calling other people thieves. Anyway, here is the thread:

Highly recommend the Project Mu Club Racers. They are about half the price of the CSG and probably 90% of the performance. I've been through two sets over 18 track days. They work great.
