Turns out I was wrong. On the way to the track today I noticed it was still on. Once I got to the track I cleared it using bimmerlink and all was good after. Sorry if I misled you!

Just drive the car and it will clear if everything is connected properly. No need for bimmerlink. Literally just went through this today.
