I'm really happy with them. I like the small things, like the shape of the spokes. they are I-beam'ish. Very cool. They look great and seem to be well made. The grey I bought looks great on just about any color car. I like their bronze color too. Both would look awesome on white. Props to you...
Well, yeah. I don't think any enthusiast would choose FWD over anything else. I don't think anyone here is saying otherwise. My post was in reply to the thread I quoted only. On a side note, I had an Integra Type R back in 2001 and it was more fun to drive than anything else I could find at the...
Heck no. Keeping my car. Took me way to long to find it. ?
I just found it interesting to see some dealerships clinging on to the fact that they think they're still sitting on a gold mine.
I also love, love, love, these dealerships getting what's coming to them.
While being curious as to what Supras are selling for now, I looked up one similar to mine. 2021 base model with 3,500 mi on it.
It was listed at $60k. I did a quick search on AutoTrader and are seeing A FEW similar-mileage, premium models going for $60-63k.
There's no way these cars are still...
Up until 1998, I would have agreed with you. I meet a lot of jort-wearing, white New Balance-having retirees that tell me the same as your posts, so I've heard it all quite a bit.
?
Not a scammer, but I'm having fun with wanna be buyers of a car I'm selling:
I typed out an extensive, exhaustive for sale post with literally every single bit of information somebody could need including videos, a link to a build page, and pictures. More stuff too that I'm forgetting, but you...
I've read through this thread, maybe I'm missing it. I have an old Sparco seat I'm using for the moment. It's side mount, I assume they all are. I have a buddy club sliding rail in my old car attached to it. I need something obviously different for the Supra.
So what kind of option do I have for...
My friend and I used to set parameters on a race then give each other a week to get the fastest time. Yeah... honor system and all. It was fun and we didn't have to try to coordinate everyone to be on at the same time. Though not as fun.
So Hagerty/Lockton no longer does single day insurance? Did they ever? I think all of my track days have been single day event and I know I've always only paid for that day. It would be messed up if I had to pay for 3 days on a 1-day event. If that's changed, I will be looking elsewhere also.
$400 for 3 days is dirt cheap. Jump on it.
I use Hagerty/Lockton because they seem to be most reasonable. I would kill to only spend $400 over a weekend. One day for the Supra is like $250 or something like that.
