You know, that's one of the good things about this particular platform. You can throw a bunch of power mods on it and run down a drag strip respectfully fast, or you can build it in a different way and it hangs on a road course with the best of them.

That's a little different from me. I'd do coilovers and as many SPL bits as I could to add to my wheel/tire setup and run laps around exotics. But, again, I'm not a HP guy, since it doesn't help me go faster.

I'm good with stock power. If I'm going to tune the car then I may as well go with something more than searching for an OEM ECU. $5k+ for limitations of the stock ECU? Nah. I'm good.
$5k spent elsewhere makes my car SO much faster *for me* then an ECU clone.

I don't doubt that. There may or may not be a problem after one track day or 100. Knowing how the JB4 works, some of us may not be so trusting.

A lot of us were interested in the V because of the IV. Since the V is cheaper and better then a IV my decision was easy. But if I had a choice...I woulda thought long and hard before closing a V. It would be close! I L O V E the Mark IV.

I have always loved the mark IV's design. That being said, it looks seriously outdated park next to a mark 5. But, That's to be expected. I love my mark 5, but I would take a clean Mark IV over it, any day. For me, it's just one of the cars that I've always loved.

I'm currently working on a fix to keep my car in manual mode. I don't appreciate the unpredictability of it swapping to AT.
Also, It's super distracting to have to reach back down to flip out over again.
