Inspired by Razorlab's thread and mine on another forum, I figure It's time to start a build thread here. My current track car is a 2006 Evo of which I documented the build on EvolutionM.net. I figure it's best to start the build thread on Day one. Or... 15, as the case may be. Without further...
Yep. That's how the Internet works. Even the government has caught on.
I can go into just about any web forum or Facebook group and post ONE subjective comment and count on about 100 angry replies. People are predictable and *mostly* really, really easy to get fired up.
As for SG, I watch for...
A lot of newer cars have plastic pans. My GT350R had one, too. For multiple reasons it makes no sense to me...
But, I'm not seeing them fail, so I wouldn't complain, personally.
I am curious to read the reasoning behind it, though.
Topic related: I'm really surprised at how personal some...
It's tough. I have to spray the entire car down in between washing panels. I use a chamois to dry, so it seems to go quick enough, before it spots. It's definitely hard work, going that fast ?
I agree. Don't be like me. I jumped on this one because it took a year to find. At 1.9% interest, I didn't mind paying a bit more.
In the end, I'm probably still paying less than some that initially paid a lower price for theirs. ?
Well the wind buffeting is an issue. We can't complain about other forums making excuses like "it's an easy fix with blah blah" if we're gonna do the same.
If you buy a Supra, you're dealing with that problem.
SG is not a journalist. He's a YouTuber. He's not expected/required to be impartial. ?
I do appreciate how someone is willing to show data that's conflicting with his opinion as he's giving it. That takes guts. People these days hate being proven wrong.
AAA is great for the 200 mile tow. My current insurance carrier gives me 500mi per year to use as I want, so dropped AAA, otherwise I'd keep them JUST for that.
2006 Mitsubishi Evolution (current track car- Supra will my new one)
2007 Aston Martin Vantage (going out car)
2013 Honda Fit (DD)
2006 Toyota Sequoia (tow rig/pup shuttle)
2013 GSXR 750
I may have an addiction to fun things.
I've searched this thread but haven't found any info...
Are there any TEs that fit our bolt pattern but in a 18x10 +30? 18x11 +40?
And am I reading there is a problem finding hubcentric rings? Sorry for any ignorance. Viewing from my phone and I could be missing a ton of info.
