Yeah they will ask and potentially could affect it slightly. If it's HP or PCP then technically you should inform them as well (or worse, get permission, especially for PCP). Look forward to photos ?

Yeah that's a pretty good summary, think he was (is?) also an instructor (might still be). Yeah viewers bring the car, he drives it, the deal is, if he crashes it, he pays for it (it happened a couple of times, he also shares interesting info about cost to repair the car and the track damage)...

I can confirm you can do 100 mph in 3rd in the MT. Mine is the semi skimmed 340bhp EU edition for the records. I changed into 4th at 98 mph just before it red lined.

That doesn't sound good, residue can indicate a small leak but it shouldn't be empty, did the car throw up a code or a message on the dash about low coolant? I have the stock cap, no residue, but I think most guys are getting aftermarket ones when replacing.
