This was released back in January, but I haven't seen it posted up on here. Toyota's official podcast channel did about an hour long feature on the Supra that go over some interesting details. Not much new here, but some good info...
How do people get paid for this stuff? That is not a review, that's 90% information that BMW told him that is also available on BMW's website. Sounds like he test drove a Z4 at a dealership and played around with the ride control settings a bit and called it a day.
I hope I'm wrong, but this seems to seal the fate of no more Toyotas in Forza for a while. I keep hoping for a new Toyota DLC, but they seem to just care about GT at this point.
The Supra being a bolt-on targa should help with the stiffness, but I'd still expect some loss over a hardtop. I don't really care though, I'd rather have a more simple mechanism like the targa on the NSX, or 300ZX t-tops, and likely lose a little more rigidity compared to bolts. Still worth it.
I mean, I think you're kind of wrong; but I also think it's worth the sacrifice most of the time. Any difference in rigidity is probably not noticeable to most people daily driving the things.
At this point I've mostly decided that I'd be happier in a car from the 70's to the 90's.... but I would absolutely have to buy a targa, 6spd MKV if it were available.
Same here. I thought I was special, but I guess anyone can do it.
You're asking someone to prove that something does not exist when the only evidence that it does exist is that you say that it does. The burden of proof is on you. How a college education has not taught you that is just a bit...
It's been a while, but this is pretty much how I remember the GTR launch as well. Most people seem to have changed their minds on that one.... still not me entirely, but I do hate it less.
