Could be that Toyota doesn't want to alienate EU buyers right off the bat as they're trying to get pre-orders. Or maybe, as in the case of the 86, they really feel like that's a balanced power level and it's up to the buyer to turn it up.
Is it literally fake sound? I believe some cars resonate the actual noise of the engine or exhaust through sound tubes rather than playing fake audio through the speakers.
I sat in one of these while traveling in Japan a couple of years ago. Very impressive car; instantly made me angry that we couldn't get something like that in the US.
From what I've seen, GRMN employs similar marketing, although the cars are not nearly as prevalent as every realtor in the US driving a Lexus F Sport. I think the best case we can hope for is for Toyota NA to do the same thing with the TRD brand and have a TRD and a TRD Sport or something along...
It's not very good logic for a company that is currently trying to swing its entire brand to have a more sporty image (TRD Camry and Avalon, GRMN series cars, etc) and introduce a new car like the Supra. They have plenty of options that they could put into Forza if they wanted to.
Very true on the RX7 quality lol.
The Z32's digital cluster was functionally awesome, IMO. Everything was right there and easy to use (if you lived with the car and knew how to use it), but you don't have 30 buttons and dials in your face. I haven't spent as much time in an MKIV so it may also...
There's quite a bit going on here:
The plastic was always the biggest drawback for me though. I think the RX7, 300ZX, and NSX all had better looking interiors, but I do like some aspects of the Supra.
You're forgetting that there was a pretty meh non-turbo Supra available below your world fighting track car. Yes, no one wants to wait for the better model to become available, but it is what it is.
They brought a proposal to BMW and BMW agreed?
Begging doesn't usually take place at this level of negotiation. I don't see what form of logic brings you to your conclusion.
Don't get me wrong, I have the same issues with the engine choice as you do.
You're the one who has convinced yourself that the car is DCT with no factual information to back it up while complaining that you don't believe that it's a TC automatic because there are no facts to back it up. But ok.
