You can program the range that the tpms kicks in warning.
I had already pulled mine out on an 18” Sq set up and don’t care to put them back in. My dash looks like a Xmas tree already
I just click through 4 warnings on way to out lap
good
Luck with getting more people to track….
It is hard...
my penis is fine. Ask a certain family member.
Think a lot of us old school manual guys are incredulous at the wusification of “car guys”
Rev match, hill hold- what’s the point of a manual ??
I bet it will do great on the track! Front wheels pulling you through and out of corners.
With the weight it will be like the teslas that track- just super hard on brake pads, rotors and tires.
BUT with super car performance you should start to expect to pay near super car consumables
SH!!T.... 100% everything I have learned the hard ($$) way :)
I have a lonely nice road near my shop when i change pads I do the violent 70-10 (2), 80-10(2), 90-10(2), 100-10(2)
The track is my drug and I would have totally done the same thing if pressed for time and gone straight there
you have a brake pedal in between the go pedal and the clutch.
You should NOT use the emergency brake to hold the car on a hill while driving!
Maybe you should have gotten the AT?
My daughter drives a manual VW and does not have issues on hills.
Can't really bed in at track. New material never gets a chance to cool and set.
Once I had similar situation and i just drove even more aggressively and I guess I kind of forced the issue
All bets are off if suspension bits are bent. .02
You track a bunch- cut the sensor heads off and wire together and just tiny zip tie out of the way.
Trust me nothing is worse than a brake sensor going off and going into limp the first session of the day... ask me how i know ;)
I am sure you are good about checking pads yourself. The more...
at 19000 miles of almost all hard tracking and 3rd set of rotors. Ave one per season. I like wearing down to min spec- less rotational mass :)
They will form a wear lip on the outside and you will get to know how much life is left after a couple. put a mic on it but i doubt you are...
awesome! I might have bit at 25 over. Still think i would rather have a GT3 just because... well it's a GT3
The in cabin exhaust and intake noise made my race suit tight in the pants region!
2 friends have the new GT4rs. I got to ride in one on the track. You will not be disappointed AMAZING
fwiw they are getting 50-70k over msrp currently. And you have to have bought a couple Porsche new before.
Traded in the ML 350 for this GL 450 to make towing Supra easier
and just got this $500 Mercedes on road. Will daily for a while and then probably let daughter drive it
A GT3
Almost pulled the trigger on one for this season. But it was too nice. I would drive it hard but I couldn’t bring myself to thrash like i do the supra.
will probably keep the Supra as track rat and buy a GT3.
