You absolutely are if you don't de-tune your low & mid RPM's to reduce your peak torque. Plenty of dyno sheets of guys with ~500 WHP making 600+ torque on this platform.
Kind of funny to put into perspective that Z fanboys have been paying 15-20K+ extra for their Nismo Editions with a modest body kit, seats, slightly different exhaust, and 5% power bump for 20 years now. Guess this is how it feels, except most Supra owners know the markup isn't actually very...
I'm ricer enough to like the GR sticker in a way :dunno:
better $10 for a sticker than $10K+ for the final edition when I don't really need or care for the other additions though.
Some people sit in just the right position that their elbow is over or right next to the cup holder so having covers gives them a more comfortable spot for their elbow.
It's really my only gripe with the center is the cup holders aren't in the best spot.
Not sure how much extra camber lowering will give, but I run 12 MM front and 15 MM rear and think it's about as good as you can get on the stock wheels. Front might need a 13+ with added camber.
Something you see with some automatic transmissions is the top 1-2 gears are moreso "economy gears" that aren't really meant for performance driving, that could possibly have something to do with it.
I know in my old 370z the Jatco 7SPD's 6th and 7th gears won't throttle blip on downshifts, and...
can we please stop with the politics and return to the topic at hand on whether or not electric cars are all just a sham to make car enthusiasts miss exhaust sounds enough to accept straightpipe fartcan VQ's and Boxer's?
My biggest gripe of the last 5+ years with this hobby is how impossibly difficult it sometimes is to find wheel weights. Is there any valid reason why manufacturers don't just print their wheel weights on their websites?
Anyone happen to have 57CR 19x9.5 +25 and 19x10.5 +35 weights? All I can...
you should change the OP to mention something that's actually hard to find info on before people start making jokes about how this must have been another oil thread
From what I've heard the axle snapping issues comes from immediately hooking on hard launches, primarily with drag racing and/or when running radials.
I can't imagine having axle issues while already up to speed if you aren't making crazy power. Maybe if you're going absolutely crazy with...
