At the end of the day you pass and see so many Mustangs on the roads they all blend together and are unremarkable. The only difference to me is how loud they are and at the track some i pass in one lap, some take 2 laps. :)

Never "fire blankets" the only thing above the engine is a metal hood. Metal is not flammable. So no, those blankets are heat insulation to protect the paint on your hood and deaden sound. Now that insulation is under the plastic beauty covers. holds heat and deadens sound. Please...

Don’t know how a plastic cover that is flammable would put out a fire. If anything it is combustible fuel. Tell engineer he is fired

I can’t see that as legit as modern engines have more and more plastic bits and wires I believe covers to be for Beauty and noise insulation plastic will catch fire and burn. Will NOT melt and put a fire out
